ABOUT US
1902
Birwelco Ltd formed - Experts in engineering design, global project management & patented flare systems
1909
Unit Superheater Engineering formed - Front runners in the design and manufacturing of Superheaters and other static equipment.
2002
Unit Engineers and Constructors formed - Offering fabrication, mechanical construction and maintenance expertise
2004
In 2004 Unit Superheaters was acquired by Unit Engineers and Constructors- bringing together fabrication, mechanical construction and maintenance expertise with specialist engineering services.
2010
The Unit Group acquired Birwelco- adding engineering design, global project management and procurement and patented flare systems, to create one of the UK’s only true EPCM contractors.
2020
New Management - With new management, new departments and a strategic focus on growth. UnitBirwelco's history brings a unique perspective to EPCM projects: we have an innate understanding of complex engineering solutions and acute awareness of the level of detail and precision that are fundamental to all major engineering projects.
2021
The UnitBirwelco Group incorporate UnitBirwelco Energy, our first clean energy division, and UnitBirwelco IISP Thermal Equipment, our first international location - offering a clean energy division as well as a joint venture based in India
2022
New focus - With a greater focus on Net Zero than ever before,
the UnitBirwelco Group and it's JV UnitBirwelco IISP Thermal Equipment continue to provide engineering solutions to customers across the globe.
2023
UB Group reach new heights across the world- The development of our new division in the middle east is in the works, with continuous growth across all of our other divisions.
